Snipstock: Free cutout images in PNG and PSD formats

Snipstock is a UK based company, part of CossyImages LTD ran by Co-founders Mitchell Hussey and Sam Ross. With backgrounds in graphic design and publishing we felt a need for quality cut out images that could be edited once downloaded, to give extra creative freedom to customers. We source our images from the public domain then work with a team of talented designers to professionally snip them away from their backgrounds.

We add 250 new snips per week sourcing from various public domain websites such as Pixabay. We credit them and their contributors for their excellent photography that we are able to use to create our cutouts.

We strive for excellence in our snips and try to quality control as much as we can, ensuring every snip meets our high standards.

Terms of Service

The following is a legal agreement between you ("You") and the owners and operators ("We") of www.snipstock.com ("Website" or "Snipstock"). These terms of service ("TOS") govern your access to and use of the Website and its content.

"Content" shall refer collectively to images available under Creative Commons CC0 from the Snipstock website. "Image(s)" means cut out photographs in JPEG, PNG and PSD formats. This agreement may be revised or updated without notice. By using the Website, you agree to be bound by these TOS.

Using Images

PNG images on Snipstock are released under Creative Commons CC0. PNG images are sourced from the public domain where uploaders have waived their copyright and related or neighbouring rights to these Images. You are free to adapt and use them for your own personal use without attributing the original author or source. Although not required, a link back to Snipstock is appreciated.

Limitations

a) Images and Videos depicting identifiable persons may not be used for pornographic, unlawful or other immoral purposes, or in a way that can give a bad name to people, or to imply endorsement of products and services by those persons, brands, organisations, etc.
b) Since Snipstock does not require a written Model Release for each Image or Video that shows identifiable people, we cannot guarantee that You will be able to use the Content for any purpose You like.
c) Certain Images may be subject to additional copyrights, property rights, trademarks etc. and may require the consent of a third party or the license of these rights. Snipstock does not represent or make any warranties that it owns or licenses any of the mentioned, nor does it grant them.

User PNG uploads

Users are permitted to upload there own PNG, PSD and JPEG images to our site 'Snipstock'. However, it does have to be your own images. Under no circumstances are you to upload any images that do not belong to you.

By uploading to Snipstock you are waving your copyright to your images, allowing fellow users to download and use your images.

No adult content to be uploaded, your images will get vetted and inappropriate images will be denied. Resulting in being banned from uploading in the future.

Snipstock acts as a third party and cannot be held responsible for copyrighted material that a user might upload. We can however remove any image and ban the person that uploads copyrighted images. If you see any of your images uploaded without your permission and you do indeed own that copyright, please let us know so we can remove it from our site ASAP.

Warranty and liability

THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS". WE OFFER NO WARRANTY, EXPLICIT OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ANY CONTENT, THE WEBSITE, THE ACCURACY OF ANY INFORMATION, OR ANY RIGHTS OR LICENSES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SNIPSTOCK DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE OR ITS CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT THEIR USE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE. You may provide certain personal information, such as your first and last name, the country you live in, PayPal information, and email address, which will be displayed on your Private profile page on Snipstock.

Whenever You visit a page, our servers automatically record certain information that your web browser sends. This data is used for ensuring the stability of our provided services and is deleted automatically after seven days.
